Our story

Let yourself be guided by the fresh catch of the day with original, creative and classic fish dishes that are, as it were, conjured up on the plate by chef Marianne Pauwaert - who, by the way, bears the title of the award-winning best Flemish fish soup. Nowadays the kitchen is strengthened by daughter Liz, who obtained her diploma in fine cuisine at the culinary school Ter Groene Poorte in Bruges. Hostess Nicole Witgeers and host Marino Pauwaert are happy to guide you in our spacious restaurant with a family character. We have an extensive menu with fish and meat dishes, a suggestion card and various menus. Our wine list provides numerous selected premium wines. There is a children's menu for the children. The kitchen is open daily from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. - on Sundays the kitchen is open until 8 p.m. and closes at 9:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended during busy periods! For the sake of good relations - no place is guaranteed without a reservation! Reservations on the terrace are not possible as we cannot control the weather conditions. Outside the high season, reservations can be made until 8 p.m., on Sundays until 7:30 p.m.! When booking, we politely ask you to stick to the agreed reservation time in order to guarantee your place. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
